  • Who are Children Changing Nations?

Children Changing Nations is a network whose aim is to see children equipped and ready to carry and release God’s love and goodness in their communities and in the nation. We achieve this by inspiring children and their leaders through our teaching series, practical ideas, launch days, and mission opportunities.

What do we believe?

We believe that children’s prayers will be part of changing the course of history!
We are a Christian organisation believing that:
> God is a good Father
> We are adopted into His Family through His Son, Jesus
> Prayer works!
> Prayer is a partnership with God to see His Will done, On Earth As It Is In Heaven

We also believe that children play an important part in God’s Kingdom and can:
> Hear from God
> Pray powerful prayers which reflect His heart know His thoughts for the people they meet
> Communicate those thoughts in ways that speak to people right ‘where they’re at’

    Who are we?

My husband Steve and I are part of ANC, Leicester.

We have three kids and we oversee the children's work at ANC. For me the best bit about Operation London 2011 was being in the Queen's robing room and declaring the peace and love of God, and feeling the Holy Spirit come down and partner with us for the rest of the day.

My wife Esther and I are part of the congregation at All Nations Church, Leicester.

We have three kids and we oversee the children's work at ANC. For me the best bit about Operation London 2011 was being in the Queen's robing room and declaring the peace and love of God, and feeling the Holy Spirit come down and partner with us for the rest of the day.

    Powerpack Ministries, based in Oxford

A highlight for me has been to write prophetic messages for football players in the Queen's Park Rangers dressing room. I also loved painting people's portraits in the National Portrait Gallery, and telling them how valued and significant they are.

I have brought lots of groups from Bromley to Operation London

When I first discovered Operation London I had to be involved. It is a privilege to release heaven alongside children.

I oversee the children’s ministry at Kings Church Horsham.

My lasting memory of Operation London was seeing a spectacular rainbow over a deserted Horse Guards Parade right at the end of the day. It was a reminder that we have an Awesome God who keeps his promises to us.

    Children's Work Consultant, Banbury

Until recently I was the Children’s Ministry Leader at Banbury Community Church, having previously been Deputy Head in two Oxfordshire Primary Schools and Acting Headteacher in one of them. My highlight from Operation London was at St Thomas’ Hospital in 2013 when the children prayed powerfully for children and their families. Also when staff gave prophetic words to the children.

    How Children Changing Nations Began

    Trevor Johnson
Children Changing Nations began with a children's leaders conference organised by Bethel Church in Redding, California. Laura Griffis was speaking she made a throw away comment, 'If I lived this close to London I'd bring my children to Westminster Abbey to pray." So Trevor did!

The group had privelged access, through into the parts of the Abbey you don't normally get to see! Following this a group of leaders met to begin praying with children to significant places in London, into the Houses of Parliament and to the top of St Paul's Cathedral.
